YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE. =D
finally got to see my beloved liverpool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's indescribable, the feelings i had, looking at the team i've been supporting and loving for 9 years IN THE FLESH.
seeing carragher, alonso, torres, mascherano, riera, insua, benayoun, kuyt and co., playing beautiful soccer RIGHT THERE. in front of me. ON A PITCH IN SINGAPORE, IN FRONT OF ME.
and the rush of adrenaline, from being THERE, right there, in the moment, as they scored, and the bittersweet sadness coursing through my veins when the entire stadium hollered the liverpool anthem, you'll never walk alone, with passion and wholeheartedly, just before they left the pitch.
thank you god, cos life is beautiful.
the only missing ingredient to a perfect experience that day was gerrard.
but nvm, one day i'll travel to england to watch him in all his glory.
thanks liverpool, for fulfilling all your fans' wishes. other than gerrard's absence.
and alonso, mascherano, as the entire stadium begged and chanted, DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went there super early, at 11 am, to queue, get breakfast. but there was so much to see, to do, to photograph, that 7pm came in no time.

look at the sea of red man.. the feeling was awesome! it was like everywhere in the vicinity of kallang we walked, we saw red. liverpudlians in liverpool jerseys, polos, shirts, etc. everywhere we walked were people wearing jerseys that made me happy. everywhere was liverpool. =)
oh and i took this pic w pixie through the binoculars. thank god for them.

this was the final score. oh well, singapore played reali well tho. as in i was sincerely surprised by singapore's skills. despite the score, they really showed skills and soccer prowess at a level i never expected from them. i may actually start following s league now. go alam shah and indra! plus AGUUUUU~~~ (*body waves*)
